This large triangular shawl has an interesting pattern running up the side, with garter stitch worked on the increasing side of the pattern. Easy to remember, this shawl is perfect for creating a project to both impress and keep a cool summer evening's chill away.
*Please note this is for a physical pattern, professionally printed on heavy cardstock*
Recommended Yarn: 2 skeins Lace Weight Cotton Yarn, sample was knit using the colorway "Moonlit Glassfrog"
I used 100% of both skeins on the shawl.
Needles: US 2.5 and US 5
Gauge: 23 sts and 44 rows = 4"x 4" in textured pattern on US 2.5, blocked.
Recommended Alterations: Pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, but I used lace weight instead. This made the shawl smaller than what the pattern says it will be (you can still see how large it is in my photos!). I decreased the needle to US 1.5 and you can see my project notes here.
